Why buy a Diverter Valve rather than a Blow-Off Valve? We will not sell a Blow-off Valve or a hybrid valve for VW’s or Audi’s. The mass air-flow sensor measures the amount of air that enters your intake system. Your car came with a diaphragm type of Diverter Valve which routes the air back to near the Air Cleaner when the throttle closes. A blow-off valve dumps the air into the atmosphere making that great whoosh sound in the process. This confuses the fuel injection systems and sometimes throws a code which turns on your check engine light. The solution? Buy Forge’s Diverter piston style diverter valve and either a Neuspeed or AEM Cold Air Intake. You will increase your performance with both the Forge Diverter Valve and the Cold Air Intake and you will hear the air coming back into the intake through the diverter valve. Forge’s Diverter valves are manufactured in their own state of the art CNC facility. All Forge products are guaranteed for life, to the original owner.
