Bilstein Shocks are so sensitive that the piston needs to move only 2mm to react to road surface fluctuations. This allows them to offer more control than most other shocks. Bilstein shocks have a speed-sensitive piston that allows them to become firmer as the piston moves faster. Conventional shocks slowly lose efficiency and eventually fail over a period of time causing excessive tire and suspension wear. Bilstein Shocks continue to deliver optimum performance for life. Bilstein’s Heavy_Duty Shocks are recommended for use with stock-height springs. Bilstein Sport shocks are recommended for use with lowering springs.
